Testosterone Therapy for Him

WHAT IS TESTOSTERONE?

Testosterone, like other hormones, are the body’s chemical messengers, regulating and enabling virtually all of the body’s physiological processes. Testosterone for men, facilitates everything from libido and muscle mass to metabolism and mental clarity. Our brain communicates with our hypothalamus and pituitary glands through a complex network of physiological processes to carefully regulate testosterone levels in our bodies. Once the brain senses that the body has sufficient hormone levels, it will send a message to the pituitary gland to cease production.
As we age, this hormone network starts to break down, and the production of testosterone begins to decrease, leading to low testosterone, “Low-T”, “Hypogonadism”, “Andropause”, or “Low Testosterone”. Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a medical treatment that aims to boost low testosterone levels in the body, addressing symptoms like fatigue, low libido, and muscle loss. Hormonal imbalances can affect men of any age due to underlying factors such as stress, medical conditions, and lifestyle habits, not just those over 40. The decline in testosterone can leave you feeling like a shadow of your former self, unable to live optimally. Hormone therapy can help you reclaim your youthful vigor.

TESTOSTERONE THERAPY FOR MEN

As men age, the body’s natural production of testosterone begins to decrease, usually starting around the age of 30. The production rate continues to decrease by an average of 1% every year for the rest of a man’s life. This natural aging process, as well as problems affecting the health of the testes, can lead to a condition known as Hypogonadism, or Secondary Hypogonadism when caused by a problem in the Hypothalamus or Pituitary gland. These conditions are commonly referred to as low testosterone or low T, and are diagnosed when a man’s testosterone levels fall below the normal range and symptoms are present. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a form of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) used to increase and optimize a man’s testosterone levels to reduce the symptoms caused by the decline of testosterone in the body, treat disorders that can be caused by low T and can improve a man’s overall quality of life.

CAUSES OF LOW TESTOSTERONE

SYMPTOMS AND CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH LOW TESTOSTERONE

Increased fatigue
Decreased libido/drive
Decreased muscle mass
Increased body fat – especially around the waist
Elevated changes in cholesterol and lipid levels
Decreased body hair
Poor motivation
Osteoporosis/weak bones/low bone density
Type 2 diabetes/Pre diabetes
Insulin resistance/Metabolic disorder

Cardiovascular disease

Low energy
Erectile dysfunction (ED)
Unexplained weight gain or the inability to lose weight
Brain fog
Decreased cognitive function
Depression
Moodiness/irritability

Restoring testosterone to optimal levels with weekly injections in the muscle, topically daily on the skin, or every 6 months through a pellet insertion can restore libido, improve energy, strengthen bones, improve skin, elevate mood, increase stamina, increase lean muscle, reduce weight and improve overall well-being. Therapy also reduces inflammation in the blood, raises HDL (good cholesterol) and decreases total cholesterol which can decrease the incidence of type 2 diabetes, cognitive decline and cardiovascular disease.

Enclomiphene, taken orally, can be used as an effective alternative for men who don’t want to take testosterone or in addition to your current testosterone therapy regimen for a greater increase in production of testosterone in the body. Enclomiphene tells your pituitary gland in your brain to send the message to your testicles to increase the production of testosterone. Enclomiphene essentially tricks your brain into thinking there’s too little testosterone in your system and as a result, your body produces more of its natural production of testosterone.

Pregnyl, a brand name for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), taken by an injection in the fat, can be used as a safe and effective alternative for men who don’t want to take testosterone or in addition to your current testosterone therapy regimen for a greater increase in production of testosterone in the body. HCG is a powerful injectable hormone treatment that plays a critical role in fertility and hormone regulation. In men, it stimulates the body’s natural production of testosterone.

Gonadorelin, taken by an injection in the fat, can be used as a safe and effective alternative for men who don’t want to take testosterone or in addition to your current testosterone therapy regimen for a greater increase in production of testosterone in the body. Gonadorelin tells your pituitary gland in your brain to send the message to your testicles to increase the production of testosterone. Gonaderelin essentially tricks your brain into thinking there’s too little testosterone in your system and as a result, your body produces more of its natural production of testosterone.
