As men age, the body’s natural production of testosterone hormonal levels decreases usually starting at the age of 30. The production rate continues to decrease by an average of 1% every year for the rest of a man’s life. Testosterone replacement therapy can be prescribed to be administered in a pellet inserted in the body, injection in the muscle, tablet by mouth, topically on the skin or sprayed in the nose. We offer treatment that can either be injected in the muscle or applied topically to the skin. It is usually injected once or twice every week or applied topically once daily.
