MK 677 (Ibutamoren) is a growth hormone (GH) secretagogue that works to increase the body’s
natural store of suboptimal or depleted growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). This
results in decreased body fat, increased energy and increased lean muscle mass. Ibutamoren
(MK 677) stimulates the pituitary gland to increase the production of human growth hormone
(HGH). Ibutamoren (MK 677) is a long-acting peptide agonist of the ghrelin receptor and a
growth hormone secretagogue. It imitates the growth hormone stimulating action of the
endogenous hormone ghrelin which increases appetite.
