individuals who have Overweight or Obesity. Overweight is defined as a BMI of 27
with a chronic illness (i.e., high blood pressure, prediabetes, diabetes, high
cholesterol, etc.) Obesity is defined as a BMI of 30 or more.
The Tirzepatide Weight Loss Program provides support and guidance to help you
make the lifestyle change for better health and wellness.
WHAT IS TIRZEPETIDE?
Tirzepatide is a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and
glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. Tirzepatide increases insulin
secretion and acts on centers of the brain and suppresses appetite. Used in
conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, Tirzepatide can help you lose weight
and keep it off.
Tirzepatide is administered once weekly with a tiny needle to the abdomen region.
Tirzepatide injections can be administered in the office or self administered at
home. The weekly dose increases every four weeks until the maintenance dose is
achieved. It can be taken any time of day, with or without food.
The most common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, stomach
pain, fatigue, headache, bloating, gas, and heartburn. These potential side effects
are typically mild and are usually dose dependent. We will help to guide you to
minimize or eliminate potential side effects.
Lipotropic injections are intramuscular (in the shoulder muscle shots) that have
vitamins and amino acids to help burn fat, increase energy and detoxify from the
inside out. Lipotropic and/or vitamin injections may include Vitamin B12,
glutathione, inositol, choline and methionine.
At your first appointment we will review your medical history, current medications,
allergies and blood test results. You will have your weight and body measurements
taken on the 3D Styku body composition scanner. Also, this medication will be
discussed and prescribed along with diet and exercise planning. The first
appointment is the longest.
Diet plans are created by a Registered Dietician with your individual needs. Plans
include a daily meal plan and is accompanied with a shopping list with real grocery
store foods.
The Skytu body scan takes a non invasive 3D body scan that includes your weight,
BMI, body fat and body inch measurements. This digital assessment will also be
emailed to you for you to continually track your progress.
