Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (a substance that is naturally present in the human body). Hyaluronic acid is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints. Dermal fillers are FDA approved for the use in cosmetic procedures – specifically areas that require volume. Dermal filler treatment typically covers the lower 2/3 of the face. Dermal fillers generally plump sunken cheeks, laugh lines and lips.

How long does the treatment effect last?

6-18 months depending on other factors such as vigorous exercise, tobacco use, past use of product.

You may feel a slight pinch. Topical numbing cream is available.

How long is the office visit?

Generally 30-45 minutes depending on how many areas are being treated.

I have an event in the next few days, when should I have this treatment?

We recommend two weeks in advance at minimum.

How soon will I see the final results?

Results are immediate, however final results take about 2 weeks.
