Integrative Mental Health

Integrative Mental Health is a method of treatment that encompasses a comprehensive treatment for mental health and wellness that includes lifestyle, diet, nutrition, prescription medication and psychotherapy. We help clients regain mental wellness with individualized metabolic testing, nutritional therapies and dietary interventions. These methods can be used in conjunction with traditional medical approaches with prescription medication. Comprehensive laboratory testing is used to evaluate and treat underlying biomedical issues, which may include nutritional deficiencies, food allergies and hormone imbalances. By focusing on a person’s individual unique genetic, biochemical, and nutritional status, customized treatment plans can be implemented to provide better mental wellness outcomes.

Lifestyle treatment addresses fundamentals of sleep and movement. We address the importance of exercise as a form of treatment to help improve mental wellbeing. We also address the vital need for restorative sleep as pivotal to your mental health and wellbeing.

Diet Therapy

Diet therapy can optimize your mental health by addressing imbalances in the gut. Over 50% of neurotransmitter formation is made in the gut. Prescribing a diet can help support mental wellness by providing a heathy gut environment to optimize essential cellular processes that are precursors to optimal mental health.

Vitamin Therapy

Vitamin Therapy can replace deficiencies that may mimic symptoms of mental illness such as anxiety, poor mood, poor focus and concentration. Vitamin Therapy can also optimize mental health by helping to remove free radicals that can impair healthy brain functioning. Vitamin therapy can be prescribed orally through medical grade supplements, vitamin injections and intravenous infusions. Click here to learn more IV Nutrition.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can replace deficiencies that may mimic symptoms of mental illness such as insomnia, poor motivation, weight gain, poor concentration and anxiety. HRT can also help to optimize your mental health and wellbeing. Click here to learn more about Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Peptide Therapy

Peptides are essentially short chains of amino acids that illicit a response in the body. Peptides are a more natural treatment as it helps to stimulate deficiencies in what the body already creates. Click here to learn more about Peptide Therapy.

Prescription Medication

We prescribe traditional medication as a complement to other treatments when clinically indicated.

Have you tried multiple medications that have not been effective? Depression symptom relief often can take weeks to months for medications to be determined if they are effective. When medicinal treatments fail, many people often end up starting all over creating a vicious cycle of frustrating failed treatments.
We offer testing that analyzes the genetic variations in your DNA that may affect medication outcomes. The test is as simple as a cheek swab taken in the office or at home. Genetic pharmacological testing has been proven to provide better outcomes in medication treatment that works specifically for you. Results are generally available within two weeks.
